Another poem I wrote for Creative Writing Club. The prompt was someone is being chased by an animal.

a path

twists and turns

through the woods;

trees swallow the sky,

weeds consume the path;

the path branches and splits

overlapping and weaving

a spider's web

through the forest

the paths tangle together,

they are indiscernible

in the dusk -

endlessly circling and crossing;

it is easy to get lost

and hard to escape

from the spider
